Meeting Cupcake

by Casey

My first question to a kitty named Cupcake (I love that name) was how old she was, now I know that isn't a good thing to ask a gurl, but I did, and she answered that she was over 12 years old (and didn't swat me). When I asked where she lived, she replied that she lived in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was an orphan and didn't even know if she had any siblings. How sad that is, but we are glad she found her forever home.

When I asked Cupcake what her very worst habit was, the one that drove her Meowmie crazy. She laughed and said she sometimes liked to poop on the carpet (gasp)! But when I asked her what her favorite toy was, her answer made ME laugh. She said her Dad was her favorite plaything, LOL.

Cupcake's favorite food is Science Diet Feline Hairball formula for Seniors, and after she eats her fill, she then likes to sleep on her Dad's tummy. This kitty sounds like a Daddy's Gurl to me, but when she thinks it is time to hide, she says she likes to hide under some boxes, especially since she is an indoor only kitty, she can't run outside to hide.

When I asked Cupcake how she found her forever home, she said that she was adopted at the Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital where her mom works. And since she has come to live at her forever home, she has also come to be known as "Chubby" at both home and the vets. Now I can't say that is a nickname that I would want, but I know someone that it could apply to.

When I asked Cupcake what her nickname would be at the Vets, she laughed and said her name would most definitely be "Lover". Which of course led me to ask if she was spoiled. Cupcake very proudly danced around and said she was immensely and well-deserving of being spoiled.

So now that my interview was over, I learned that Cupcake was an orphan, adopted by her mom from the Vet's office, her favorite person is her dad and her nickname is "Chubby". There you have it Zine readers, the life and times of one interesting kitty named Cupcake.
