I will haff ta ask her ta teach me how to skate like dat.

I bet I could skate as gud as dem if someone would teach me too.
I haff such a natural grace when I dance on a regular dance floor, how hard could it be wiff these two little runners??
Spud
Don't be so silly Scully, dat looks like it is hard to balance and dance at da same time.
Dey look so graceful. Maybe if we asked dem, they would help us learn to skate like dat too.
Annie
Of course, we will help you learn to skate like this, won't we Ernie?
It just takes a lot of practice.
I'm sure mew haff enuff grace and skating ability ta skate just like us.
Ernie
And a lot of falling down and landing on each other. Watch us for a while,
den we will trade partners an teach mew how ta dance on da skates.
After a full day of skating on da pond Scully, Fox an Spud could skate almost as well as Annie and Ernie.
Annie and Ernie headed for home to get some hot catnip tea to warm up all of dare four paws
and dare poor bodies where dey landed on top of... or under their understudies.
Scully, Fox, an Spud decided to go to da ski lodge ta watch the skiers and haff some hot catnip tea.
Spud
Wow, watch da hoomans skiing down dat high mountain. It would seem dat we should be able ta ski just as gud as dem!!
Scully
If I could learn to skate as well as I did today, maybe I could ski too.
Fox
Dat skiing down dat high mountain looks a lot harder dan skating on a flat pond.
But, at da start of today we weren't able to dance on skates and now we can do it!!!
Just goes to show mew dat mew can do anything mew reely reely want to do.
Dis nip-tea we are drinking is starting to make me so sleepy,
I could just lay here by da window and take a cat nap.

Ya, you are right Fox. We did do a lot of exercising today learning to skate.
I think I looked so graceful towards the end. Yes, a nap sounds gud to me too. Maybe we can learn to ski tomorrow.

Ya, dis nip-tea sure relaxes me. It warms me up all through and through!!
Yawn..... tomorrow sounds like a gud day to learn to ski.
Within moments all three of them were sound asleep by the window.
The cat-nip tea put them into a very deep sleep.... and they were all dreaming of tomorrow!!!
